Words in the Room
Nothing moves us like good conversation.
Navigating a crunchy moment, codifying your company culture, hosting a panel? I’ve got you.
Great facilitation makes space for what needs to be said—so shift happens.
That’s the space I hold. I’ll design a session—or step into an existing one—to make sure the conversation lands and progress flows.
Sometimes you need a guide or moderator who can read the room, shape the energy, and keep things moving.
Someone invested, yet objective. That’s me.
I LEAD SO YOU CAN PARTICIPATE
Well-facilitated conversations have more impact than planning alone ever will.
The soft side of business makes the hard stuff work—even better.
Tactics matter. But feelings move us. That’s where I come in.
I make space for what needs to be said—but rarely is—so tension eases, energy flows, and progress is made.
As a neutral, yet invested partner, I bring perspective, balance, and structure—so all voices are heard and people feel seen.
That’s my craft.
Good talks make good work.
Zingerman’s & Heath
I brought the wise words and special spark of Ari Weinzweig—from Michigan’s beloved Zingerman’s—to Heath in 2010, after a chance encounter told me it was time.
Ari and I gave talks, I moderated panels, and we co-led strategic visioning and planning workshops that helped shape a pivotal moment in Heath’s culture.
Here we are on stage at Heath SF. He’s holding up The Good Guide: What Makes Heath, Heath—the culture book I wrote for them.
City Arts & Lectures
I had the pleasure of interviewing Dr. Andrew Budson on City Arts & Lectures, KQED radio.
He’s a neuroscientist, professor, and author of Six Steps to Managing Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia—a guide for loved ones caring for those with Alzheimer’s.
Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco
I co-led a two-day retreat for 50 senior leaders across the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco (FAMSF).
Held at the de Young’s Koret Theater, the workshop blended thoughtful facilitation, honest conversation, and a creative spark.
We covered strategy, identity, audience, equity, and innovation—as the next phase of the museum’s culture and strategic plan were taking shape.

Sometimes, it takes someone from the outside to bring it all into view.
It’s tough to get there from the inside. Everyone’s so steeped in the culture—they can’t see things objectively.
An outside perspective brings balance and safety to the conversation.
